CATCHING THE BOBBIN THREAD
1. Raise the presser foot by pulling up the presser foot
lifter.
2. Hold the top thread and turn the handwheel toward
the back of the machine to make the needle go down
and back up. You will see a loop formed by the bobbin
thread.
3. Pull the loop to find the end of the bobbin thread.
4. Pull ends of both threads to the back of the machine
and slide the bobbin case cover back into place. You
are now ready to start sewing.
CHANGING THE NEEDLE
Caution: When changing the needle, make sure the power switch is OFF.
1. Raise the needle to its highest position.
2. Hold the needle and loosen the needle clamp screw.
Remove the old needle.
3. Insert the new needle into the clamp with the flat side
toward the right of the machine making sure the eye
is straightly facing the right or the left of the machine.
Be sure to push the needle all the way up into the bar
before tightening the needle clamp screw.
4. Tighten the needle clamp screw.
Please note: After replacement of the needle, first move
handwheel toward the back of the machine to check if
there are stitches, and then operate machine by power
ONLY WHEN THE NEEDLE IS IN RIGHT POSITION AND
THERE ARE STITCHES BEING FORMED.
POSSIBLE CAUSES OF A POOR STITCH
1. The upper threading is not correct.
2. The presser foot is not in the down position.

4. The needle eye is not facing the right or the left of the machine.
5. The needle is bent.
6. Lower threading is not correct.
7. The wrong size bottom bobbin is used.
8. Upper threading is too loose.
9. The bobbin case is not in the right position in which the bobbin case is blocked for counter
