Accessories/Options
SMPS1 - Optional Pop Shield
It is advised to always use a pop-filter/shield to help minimize percussive sounds making their way
onto your recording. A pop-filter will also help prevent damage from any mouth spray moisture. Ask
your dealer about getting the optional SMPS1 pop shield.
TB101/202 - Tube Microphone pre-amplifier
The SM MC01 is a great microphone, yet coupled with either the TB101 or TB202 tube microphone
preamplifier your audio can really shine. A good tube preamplifier can add roundness and warmth to
your recordings, just the thing to help retain some smooth tonality in a digital environment. Also fea-
turing a built in compressor and EQ stage, the TB101/202 is perfect for tailoring your sound before
you have to “fix it in the mix”. The SM MC01 and TB101/202 combination make a great combination
to improve the front end of your recording process. Check them out at your local dealer!
