9. Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) is implemented in the adapter to
prevent unauthorized access. For more secure data transmissions, set
encryption to “128-bit” or “64-bit.” The 128-bit setting gives a higher
level of security. The setting must be the
same for all clients in your
wireless network (Default: Disabled.)
To completely configure WEP
you must use the Configuration Utility. See “Encryption” on page 31.
