Band—From the drop-down menu, select either the 2.4GHz
(B+G+N) or 5GHz (preferred) option and click the Apply button to
set the SMCWTVA100 wireless band.
VIRTUAL AP BRIDGE The Virtual AP Bridge menu item provides the same functionality as the
Quick Setting menu item. From the drop-down menu you can select to
connect the SMCWTVA100 to a local LAN either using a wireless or
Ethernet cable connection. As in the Quick Setting menu item you can also
select the Virtual AP option to use the SMCWTVA100 in standalone mode
and connect your device directly to the SMCWTVA100 without internet.

Virtual AP Bridge—Click the down arrow to select one of the
following items from the drop-down menu:
Bridge to Wireless—Select this item to set your SMCWTVA100
to connect a Wireless LAN. Using this option you can connect to
SMCWTVA100 over the Wireless LAN or use the SMCWTVA100
wireless connection. When using the SMCWTVA100 wireless
connection in this mode you can then access the local Wireless
LAN and Internet through the SMCWTVA100 as a bridge.
