SAFE GUN HANDLING
Learn how to handle your gun in a safe and proper manner. Remember that accord-
ing to the basic rules of safety, touching a gun is the same as handling it.
Always treat a gun as if it was loaded.
Before loading, always engage the safety to prevent inadvertent firing.
Keep your finger out of the trigger guard and put it on the trigger only when you
want to shoot.
Use only ammunition that has been approved for this weapon.
Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
Always observe the legal regulations in your country when shooting in your
own home and on enclosed private property. Keep the danger area of the
projectile in mind.
Never transport a loaded gun. Only load your gun when you intend to fire it.
Never aim your airgun at persons or animals. Avoid ricochets. Never fire at smooth,
hard surfaces or water.
Before you discharge your gun, make sure that the target and surrounding area are safe.
Always make sure that the gun is not loaded when you transport it or take it from
another person.
Make sure that you always have full control over the muzzle of your gun, even if you
stumble or fall down.
Wear safety glasses when shooting.
Store your gun in a safe place and in unloaded condition. Keep it out of reach of
unauthorized persons (untrained persons, children). Store ammunition separately.
This gun and its instruction manual may only be passed on to persons who are
thoroughly familiar with its use and comply with the firearms laws in their country.
Modifications or repairs of guns should be made only by authorized companies or
gunsmiths.
Never leave a loaded gun unattended.

REPAIR
A gun that does not work properly is dangerous. Do not attempt to repair this gun if it needs service.
Incorrect assembly could lead to dangerous malfunctions.
Caution: Have your gun inspected and repaired only by an authorized dealer or gunsmith.
How to use the maintenance capsule: Remove all ammunition from the gun, insert the maintenance
capsule and pierce it. Turn the gun upside-down so that the trigger is on top. Then point the gun in a
safe direction and fire until the capsule is empty.
MAINTENANCE CAPSULE (12g CO
2
GUNS ONLY)
Clean your gun at regular intervals (approx. 250 shots)
using a maintenance capsule. We recommend Walther
maintenance capsules 4.1683.
• Put the safety on “safe”.
• Prepare a thin rod with a length of approx. 30 cm. • Attach a piece of cotton fabric to its end and
clean the barrel with some silicone oil. • Now and then lubricate the inner and outer seal of the
piercing unit. • If there is an O-ring on the follower, lubricate it now and then. This has a positive
eect on the lifetime and eectiveness of the seals.
Unload the gun before cleaning it. Do not force the rod into the barrel, as this could
cause damage. Occasionally clean the metal parts on the outside. Use a cloth which
has been slightly dampened with some gun oil. Never drip silicone oil directly into the barrel.
BARREL CLEANING
BATTERIES AND ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS
Do not brandish or display this airgun in public – it may confuse people and may be a crime. Do not change the coloration and markings to make it look more like a firearm.
This is dangerous and is considered a criminal offense. For your own safety and the safety of others, carefully read these instructions before using this airgun. Buyers and owners
must observe all rules concerning the use and ownership of airguns. Modifying this airgun may result in a change of its classification under gun laws and is therefore prohibited. In such
cases the manufacturer’s warranty will immediately become void.
Batteries Return spent batteries to a municipal collection point, a dealer or the
technical service department. There is no charge. Spent batteries have a high content
of re-usable (recyclable) materials. By ensuring that these materials are recovered
through recycling instead of being disposed of, you help to conserve important resources and
protect our environment from hazardous heavy metals. Batteries containing hazardous substances
are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out waste bin and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or
Pb) of the heavy metal that is primarily responsible for this classification.
Lithium batteries Dispose of these batteries only after they are discharged. If a battery is not
fully discharged, precautions must be taken to prevent a short circuit. For example, the electrodes
must be isolated.
Electronic products that must be disposed of in accordance with this law are marked
by a waste bin with a line underneath the symbol. Please find out about appropriate
disposal facilities in your local community.
Note in accordance with the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act and the
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE/2002/96/EC): Used batteries,
rechargeable batteries and electronic products must not be put into household waste.
Do not expose the batteries to excessive heat, such as direct sunlight, fire or similar
sources. Recharge batteries only if they are made to be rechargeable.
Safety instructions for handling compressed air cylinders. If handled improperly, the compressed air cylinder can burst and severely injure people in the direct vicinity.
• The compressed air cylinder has a maximum service life of 10 years. The date of manufacture and/or the permissible service life are shown on the cylinder. • Empty the compressed air cylinder
upon expiration of the maximum service life according to the instruction manual and dispose of it properly. • Inspect the compressed air cylinder for tears or damage before each use. • Do not refill leaky or
damaged compressed air cylinders. Completely empty them and properly dispose of them according to the instruction manual. • Always observe the legal regulations in your country regarding refilling.
• Only use original Walther/Umarex compressed air cylinders with the corresponding adapter. • Never exceed the maximum filling pressure (see instruction manual). The filling pressure of the compressed
air cylinder filling device must never be higher than the maximum filling pressure of the compressed air cylinder. Use a suitable pressure reduction valve when filling. • Do not subject the compressed air
cylinder to temperatures below -20 °C or over +50 °C (bursting hazard otherwise!). • Protect the compressed air cylinder against any type of force. • Do not write on or attach stickers to the compressed
air cylinder or alter its surface. Do not engrave or perform other abrasive procedures since this can lead to damage to the compressed air cylinder and, therefore, represents a safety risk. • Only completely
emptied compressed air cylinders may be transported in aircraft or sent through the mail. • Do not use force or tools when attaching or removing the compressed air cylinder. • Only allow repairs to the
compressed air cylinder to be made by the manufacturer using original replacement parts. Any liability or warranty is void otherwise.
