Snow BEAST
General Maintenance
The Importance of Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essenal to ensure your snow
blower connues to deliver safe and high-quality
performance.
To help you properly care for your snow blower, the
following pages include a recommended maintenance
schedule, roune inspecon procedures, and simple
maintenance procedures using basic hand tools.
Maintenance is the responsibility of the owner and
must be performed regularly. More dicult service
tasks or tasks that require special tools are best
handled by a recommended service technician or
other qualied mechanic.
The maintenance schedule described on page 21
applies to snow blowers used under normal operang
condions. If you operate your snow blower under
severe condions, such as sustained prolonged use or
use it in unusually wet, dusty or rocky condions,
consult your servicing dealer for recommendaons
applicable to your individual needs and use.
Be sure to use genuine BEAST Snow Blower
replacement parts when servicing your snow blower
to assure the best quality, safety and performance.

servicing to your BEAST Snow Blower , make sure the
snow blower is on a level surface, with the ignion
switch o, the key removed, and the augers
disengaged. Also, disconnect the spark plug wires from
the spark plugs and ground them against the engine to
prevent inadvertent starng.
If you are performing adjustments or maintenance

needed according to dipsck level. Change oil as
recommended on page 21 and follow proper
procedures to check and change oil.

impeller and collector maintenance and beware of
sharp edges. Be sure the engine is o, the key
removed, and the spark plug wires are disconnected
from the spark plugs to prevent inadvertent starng.
CAUTION
Check Skid Shoes
Check the skids to ensure that the auger does not
contact the paved or gravel surface.
Adjust skids as necessary to make up for wear on the
snow blower skid shoe surface.
Adjust skid shoes to have 1/4” clearance across the
scrapper blade to reduce forces during turning and
maneuvering.
Replacement skid shoes are available for purchase
through GXi Parts & Service.
