Pre-Assembled AC/DC Safety Switch
Benefits
With the AC/DC Safety Switch pre-assembled, the inverter installation
process will now be simpler, shortening the installation time at the site:
- Easy to mount from the box, as detailed below
- Single product mounting
- No wiring of the AC/DC Safety Switch to the inverter
In addition, inventory management will now be simplified as the inverter
will always be supplied with a compatible switch.
The switch is supplied with a one-screw mounting bracket that may be
used to further secure the AC/DC Safety Switch to the wall.
Date of Change and Part Numbers
This change will be in effect starting December 1st, 2013. Inverter orders prior to this date will be
fulfilled according to inventory.
Inverter part numbers will have “-U” added to indicate that they are supplied with a pre-assembled AC/DC
Safety Switch.
Packaging and Transport
The inverters will be supplied in a new package. To remove the inverter, the
box is opened at the bottom and lifted off, leaving the inverter standing
vertically in the box base. Once the inverter bracket, placed on top of the
inverter, is mounted, the inverter can be removed from the box base
directly onto the bracket.
The shipping weight and size of the new boxes are:
- Weight: 62 lb / 28 kg
- Dimensions (HxWxD): 16 x 16 x 40.5 in / 400 x 400 x 1025 mm
Each 47.5 x 31.5 in / 1200 x 800 mm pallet will have 12 inverters.
