Copper Sink Care & Maintenance

ABOUT THIS MATERIAL

The copper sheet used is 100% recycled copper, waste as industrial pipes, electricity cables, copper

faucets, etc.

Our copper products contain 99% pure copper and less than 1% zinc. This is important because this

combination of materials provides durability and corrosion resistance.

COPPER CARE MAINTENANCE

Caring for our copper products is surprisingly easy. For basic cleaning, simply use a mild soap, water and

sponge when needed. Other cleaners will not be necessary. Don’t use abrasive materials or harsh chemi-

cals on any of our products, as these can harm the surface. Wipe the product with a clean cloth after

every use.

To help keep the copper product looking its best, occasionally apply a thin coat of wax. The wax will help

maintain the luster of the copper and will promote better water runoff. If your product has a scratch, do not

try to match it using bers.

To prevent discoloration or damage to the nish, avoid acidic substances left in contact with the copper

surface. Regular cleaning your copper product with water will keep it looking its best. Thoroughly rinse the

sink after working with acidic substances. Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasive substances that might

remove the patina, and be sure to rinse the sink well should one of these come into contact with the cop-

per. Do not use vinegar to clean the sink.

Don’t put sharp things near the copper product, because they can scratch or cause damage.

NATURAL VARIATION

A copper nish is a living nish and never really stops changing color. The evolution of a copper nish is

gradual. As it ages, it becomes even more beautiful. You can greatly reduce this change with the use of

wax.
