MODEL TXB
BELT DRIVE CENTRIFUGAL UPBLAST ROOF EXHAUSTER
MODEL OVERVIEW
Model TXB belt drive fans are designed to exhaust air up to 35,000 CFM in high static pressure
applications to 3-1/4”. The aluminum exterior provides an attractive appearance. Belt drive results
in lower operating RPM and sound levels, making the Model TXB well suited to applications where
quiet operation is important. Belt drive also permits easy performance adjustments when needed to
balance the total ventilation system. The non-overloading backward inclined wheel with its higher
static pressure capability makes this unit suitable for either ducted or nonducted applications. It’s roof
or sidewall mounting options permit location near the area to be ventilated, allowing short duct runs
and more efcient operation.
Isolation of motor and drive components from the airstream and the high velocity vertical air discharge
make the Model TXB ideally suited for the removal of dirty
contaminated and/or high temperature air from processes and
buildings. Typical applications include restaurant hoods and similar
kitchen exhaust ventilation, fume and smoke removal, laboratory
fume hood exhaust and chemical process exhaust. The TXB line of
fans is available in a variety of construction options, see the chart
above for the TXB that is right for your application.
