noise or background sound in your ears (ringing), reduce the volume or discontinue using
the headphones.
Even if your headphones are designed in such a way that you can continue to perceive ex-
ternal sounds, you should never set the volume so high that you are unable to still perceive
your environment.
2.11 Defects
If the device should ever have any defects, do not attempt to repair it by yourself.
If the power plug, the adapter or the power cable of this device are damaged, they have
to be replaced by the manufacturer or his customer service to avoid dangers resulting in
electric shock.
If any liquid has entered the device or if it was dropped or otherwise damaged, the device
has to be checked by an authorized specialized dealer. Unplug the device from the power
grid and contact an authorized specialized dealer.
2.12 Cleaning
Always turn off the device before cleaning it.
Only clean the device on the outside with the provided cloth or another dry, soft cloth. Never
use any harsh or solvent-containing cleaning materials, since these damage the surface of
the device.
If the device is extremely dirty, it may also be wiped off with a slightly moist cloth and dried
off with a dry, soft cloth.
Clean the eDock in the same way as the device.
During the cleaning, make sure that there is no lateral pull on the cables. This might dama-
ge the connecting jacks.
2.13 Disposal
Devices that are marked with the symbol shown here may not be disposed of in household
trash but have to be brought to a reception point for the recycling of electrical and electrotech-
nical devices.
Batteries may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste
treatment. Bring the batteries to a municipal collection point or have a specialized
company dispose of them.
