Resetting the unit Preparing a BLUETOOTH Device Before operating the unit for the first time, after replacing the car battery, or changing the connections, you must reset the unit. Press RESET on the inner panel with a ball-point pen, etc., after detaching the front panel. You can enjoy music, or perform handsfree calling depending on the BLUETOOTH compatible device such as a smartphone, cellular phone and audio device (hereafter “BLUETOOTH device” if not otherwise specified).
Pairing and connecting with a BLUETOOTH device When connecting a BLUETOOTH device for the first time, mutual registration (called “pairing”) is required. Pairing enables this unit and other devices to recognize each other. To start playback For details, see “Playing a BLUETOOTH Device” (page 12). To cancel pairing Perform step 2 to cancel the pairing mode after this unit and the BLUETOOTH device are paired.
Connecting with an iPhone/iPod (BLUETOOTH Auto Pairing) When an iPhone/iPod with iOS5 or later installed is connected to the USB port, the unit is paired and connected with the iPhone/iPod automatically. To enable BLUETOOTH Auto Pairing, make sure [SET AUTO PAIR] in [BT] is set to [ON] (page 20). 1 Activate the BLUETOOTH function on the iPhone/iPod. 2 Connect an iPhone/iPod to the USB port. Listening to the Radio Listening to the Radio To listen to the radio, press SRC to select [TUNER]. Selecting the source or application Useful Functions SongPal with iPhone/Android Phone Downloading the “SongPal” application (version 2.1 or later) is required from the App Store for iPhone or from Google Play for Android phone. Notes For your safety, follow your local traffic laws and regulations, and do not operate the application while driving. “SongPal” is an app for controlling Sony audio devices which are compatible with “SongPal”, by your iPhone/ Android phone.
Activating voice recognition (Android phone only) By registering applications, you can control an application by voice command. For details, refer to the help of the application. To activate voice recognition 1 2 Press VOICE to activate voice recognition. Say the desired voice command into the microphone when [Say Source or App] appears on the Android phone. Using Siri Eyes Free Siri Eyes Free allows you to use an iPhone handsfree by simply speaking into the microphone.
BEEP Activates the beep sound: [ON], [OFF]. Notes on CD-R/CD-RW discs If the multi-session disc begins with a CD-DA session, it is recognized as a CD-DA disc, and other sessions are not played. Discs that this unit CANNOT play CD-R/CD-RW of poor recording quality. CD-R/CD-RW recorded with an incompatible recording device. CD-R/CD-RW which is finalized incorrectly. During playback or reception, the demonstration mode starts. If no operation is performed for 5 minutes with [DEMO-ON] set, the demonstration mode starts. Set [DEMO-OFF] (page 19). The display disappears from/does not appear in the display window. The dimmer is set to [DIMMER-ON] (page 19). The display disappears if you press and hold OFF. Press OFF on the unit until the display appears. The connectors are dirty (page 21). The operation buttons do not function. The disc will not eject.
BLUETOOTH function The connecting device cannot detect this unit. Before the pairing is made, set this unit to pairing standby mode. While connected to a BLUETOOTH device, this unit cannot be detected from another device. Disconnect the current connection and search for this unit from another device. When the device pairing is made, set the BLUETOOTH signal output to on (page 8). Connection is not possible. The connection is controlled from one side (this unit or BLUETOOTH device), but not both.
Siri Eyes Free is not activated. Perform the handsfree registration for an iPhone that supports Siri Eyes Free. Set the Siri function on the iPhone to on. Cancel the BLUETOOTH connection with the iPhone and the unit, and reconnect. SongPal operation Application name is mismatched with the actual application in “SongPal”. Launch the application again from the “SongPal” application. While running the “SongPal” application via BLUETOOTH, the display automatically switches to [BT AUDIO].
P EMPTY: No phone numbers are stored. UNKNOWN: A name or phone number cannot be displayed. If these solutions do not help improve the situation, consult your nearest Sony dealer. If you take the unit to be repaired because of CD playback trouble, bring the disc that was used at the time the problem began. WITHHELD: The phone number is hidden by the caller. For SongPal operation: APP --------: A connection with the application is not established. Make the “SongPal” connection again (page 15).
Connection/Installation Parts List for Installation Cautions Run all ground (earth) leads to a common ground (earth) point. Do not get the leads trapped under a screw, or caught in moving parts (e.g., seat railing). Before making connections, turn the car ignition off to avoid short circuits. Zurücksetzen des Geräts Bevor Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal benutzen oder wenn Sie die Autobatterie ausgetauscht oder die Verbindungen gewechselt haben, müssen Sie das Gerät zurücksetzen. Azzeramento dell’apparecchio Prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio per la prima volta, dopo la sostituzione della batteria dell’auto o dopo avere effettuato modifiche ai collegamenti, è necessario azzerare l’apparecchio stesso. Premere RESET nella parte interna del pannello con una penna a sfera ecc. dopo aver rimosso il pannello anteriore. Nota Premendo RESET verranno cancellate le impostazioni dell’orologio e alcune funzioni memorizzate.
Disconnessione mediante un solo tocco 5 Toccare nuovamente il contrassegno N sull’apparecchio con il contrassegno N dello smartphone. * Il codice di protezione può essere indicato in vari modi (“codice di accesso”, “codice PIN”, “numero PIN”, “password” ecc.), a seconda del dispositivo. 1 Riproduzione Viene avviata la riproduzione. Se è già collegato un dispositivo, per avviare la riproduzione, premere SRC per selezionare [USB] (non appena l’iPod viene riconosciuto, sul display appare l’indicazione [IPD]). Riproduzione di un disco 1 Inserire il disco (lato con l’etichetta rivolto verso l’alto). Collegare l’iPod/il dispositivo USB alla porta USB (pagina 9). 2 Regolare il volume sul presente apparecchio. Per interrompere la riproduzione Tenere premuto OFF per 1 secondo.
3 Avviare la riproduzione sul dispositivo audio. 4 Regolare il volume sul presente apparecchio. Ricerca di un brano in base al nome (Quick-BrowZer™) 1 Note A seconda del dispositivo audio, le relative informazioni, quali titolo, numero/durata del brano e stato della riproduzione, potrebbero non venire visualizzate sul presente apparecchio. Anche se si cambia sorgente sul presente apparecchio, la riproduzione del dispositivo audio non viene arrestata.
4 Chiamate in vivavoce (solo tramite BLUETOOTH) Per utilizzare un telefono cellulare, collegarlo al presente apparecchio. Per ulteriori informazioni, consultare “Preparazione di un dispositivo BLUETOOTH” (pagina 7). Ruotare la manopola di controllo per selezionare un numero dall’elenco dei numeri, quindi premere la manopola. La chiamata telefonica viene avviata.
Preimpostazione dei numeri di telefono È possibile memorizzare fino a 6 numeri di preselezione da associare ad altrettanti contatti. 1 2 Selezionare il numero di telefono che si desidera memorizzare nel numero di preselezione scegliendolo dalla rubrica, dal registro chiamate oppure immettendo direttamente il numero di telefono. Sul display dell’apparecchio viene visualizzato il numero di telefono. Tenere premuto un tasto numerico (da 1 a 6) fino a visualizzare [MEM].
Funzioni utili SongPal con iPhone/telefono Android È necessario scaricare l’applicazione “SongPal” (versione 2.1 o successiva) da App Store per l’iPhone o da Google Play per il telefono Android. Note Per tutelare la propria sicurezza, attenersi alle leggi e alle normative locali sul traffico e non utilizzare l’applicazione durante la guida. “SongPal” è un’applicazione che consente di controllare i dispositivi audio Sony compatibili con “SongPal” dal proprio iPhone/telefono Android.
Attivazione della funzione di riconoscimento vocale (solo telefono Android) Configurazione di diverse impostazioni È possibile regolare diverse impostazioni tramite l’iPhone/il telefono Android. Utilizzo di Siri Eyes Free Siri Eyes Free consente di utilizzare un iPhone per chiamate in vivavoce semplicemente parlando nel microfono. Questa funzione richiede la connessione dell’iPhone all’apparecchio con l’associazione automatica BLUETOOTH. La funzione è supportata soltanto da iPhone 4s o modelli successivi. Verificare che sull’iPhone sia installata l’ultima versione iOS. È necessario completare in anticipo la registrazione BLUETOOTH e la configurazione della connessione tra l’iPhone e l’apparecchio.

DSPL COLOR (colore display) Consente di impostare un colore preselezionato o personalizzato per il display. COLOR Consente di scegliere tra 15 colori preselezionati e 1 colore personalizzato. L’audio salta durante la riproduzione di un dispositivo audio BLUETOOTH. Ridurre la distanza tra l’apparecchio e il dispositivo audio BLUETOOTH. Se il dispositivo audio BLUETOOTH si trova in una custodia che causa l’interruzione del segnale, rimuoverlo dalla custodia durante l’uso. Nelle vicinanze vengono utilizzati più dispositivi BLUETOOTH o altri dispositivi che emettono onde radio. Spegnere gli altri dispositivi. Aumentare la distanza dagli altri dispositivi.
OUTPUT ERROR: potrebbe essersi verificato un problema interno. Verificare il collegamento. Se il messaggio di errore rimane visualizzato, rivolgersi al più vicino rivenditore Sony. P EMPTY: non è presente alcun numero telefonico memorizzato. OVERLOAD: il dispositivo USB è sovraccaricato. Scollegare il dispositivo USB, quindi premere SRC per selezionare un’altra sorgente. Collegamenti e installazione Attenzione Portare tutti i cavi di messa a terra a un punto di massa comune. Evitare che i cavi rimangano bloccati da una vite o incastrati nelle parti mobili (ad esempio nelle guide scorrevoli dei sedili). Prima di effettuare i collegamenti, spegnere il motore dell’automobile onde evitare di causare cortocircuiti. Collegare il cavo di alimentazione all’apparecchio e ai diffusori prima di collegarlo al connettore di alimentazione ausiliaria.

Een BLUETOOTH-toestel afspelen U kunt inhoud afspelen op een verbonden toestel dat ondersteuning biedt voor BLUETOOTH A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). Zoeken naar een track op naam (QuickBrowZer™) 1 Druk tijdens het afspelen van CD, USB of (bladeren)*2 om de lijst BT AUDIO*1 op met zoekcategorieën weer te geven. Wanneer de tracklijst wordt weergegeven, drukt u herhaaldelijk op (terug) om de gewenste zoekcategorie weer te geven.
4 Handenvrij bellen (alleen via BLUETOOTH) Selecteer een nummer uit de nummerlijst door de regelknop te verdraaien en druk vervolgens op de regelknop. Het telefoongesprek wordt gestart. Om een mobiele telefoon te kunnen gebruiken, moet u deze verbinden met dit apparaat. Zie "Een BLUETOOTH-toestel voorbereiden" (pagina 7) voor meer informatie. Vanuit de gesprekkenhistorie 1 Druk op CALL, selecteer [SET RECENT CALL] door de regelknop te verdraaien en druk er vervolgens op.

U kunt ook rechtstreeks een telefoonnummer invoeren. Het telefoonnummer wordt weergegeven op het display van dit apparaat. Houd een cijfertoets (1 tot 6) ingedrukt tot [MEM] wordt weergegeven. Het contact is opgeslagen onder het geselecteerde voorkeuzenummer.
De bron of toepassing selecteren Handige functies SongPal met iPhone/Androidtelefoon De toepassing "SongPal" (versie 2.1 of later) moet worden gedownload van de App Store voor iPhone of van Google Play voor Android-telefoons. Het display verdwijnt van/verschijnt niet in het display-venster. De dimmer is ingesteld op [DIMMER-ON] (pagina 21). Het display verdwijnt als u OFF ingedrukt houdt. Houd OFF op het apparaat ingedrukt tot het display verschijnt. De aansluitingen zijn vuil (pagina 24). De bedieningstoetsen werken niet. De disc wordt niet uitgeworpen. De aansluiting is niet juist. Controleer de verbinding van het apparaat. Als de situatie niet verbetert, drukt u op RESET (pagina 7). De geheugeninhoud wordt gewist.
