To use the time counter
Press ANNUL/0 at the point on the tape that you want to find later. The
eounter in the display window resets to “0:00:00” or “00:00.” Seareh for the
point afterwards by referring to the eounter.

Notes
• The eounter resets to “0:00:00” or “00:00” whenever a tape is reinserted.
• The eounter stops eounting when it eomes to a portion with no reeording.
• Depending on your TV, the following may oeeur while playing an NTSC-reeorded
tape:
-The pieture beeomes blaek and white.
-The pieture shakes.
-No pieture appears on the TV sereen.
-Blaek streaks appear horizontally on the TV sereen.
-The eolour density inereases or deereases.
• Tapes reeorded in the LP mode eannot be played baek on SLV-SE220B.
• While setting the menu on the TV sereen, buttons for playbaek on the remote
eommander do not funetion.
Starting playback automatically with one button (One
Touch Play) (not available on SLV-SE620B and SE220B)
If you use the SMARTLINK eonneetion, you ean turn on the TV, set the TV
to the video ehannel, and start playbaek automatieally with one button.
^ Insert a tape.
The VCR automatieally turns on.
If you insert a tape with its safety tab removed, the TV turns on and
switehes to the video ehannel. Playbaek starts automatieally.

Tip
• When there already is a tape in the VCR, press 1/1 to turn on the VCR first. When
you press (play), the TV turns on, the TV is set to the video ehannel, and
playbaek starts automatieally in one sequenee.
Note
• When you use the One Toueh Play funetion, leave the TV on or in the standby
mode.
