Security certification
When the password screen is displayed,
enter the password that was set. If you fail to
enter the correct password after three tries,
the projector cannot be used. In this case,
press the ?/1 key to turn off the power.
To cancel the security lock
1 Press the MENU key, then turn off the
“
Security Lock” setting on the
Function menu.
2 Enter the password.
Enter the password that was set.
If you call the customer service center because
you have forgotten the password, you will need
to be able to verify the projector’s serial
number and your identity. (This process may
differ in other countries/regions.) Once your
identity has been confirmed, we will provide
you with the password.
Other Functions
If you are leaving the conference room
immediately, turn the projector off, and then,
after the powered tilt adjuster is retracted
into the projector, you can unplug the AC
power cord. After the AC power cord is
unplugged, the fan runs for a certain time
automatically.
• When unplugging the AC power cord, ensure
that the powered tilt adjuster has been
retracted into the projector. Moving the
projector with the powered tilt adjuster
extended may damage the adjuster.
• Turn off the projector according to the
procedure explained in “Turning Off the
Power” on p ag e 14,” th en cool it down before
storing the projector in the carrying case.
• To use this function, the unit needs to have
been on or standby mode for more than 15
minutes. If not, the fan might not keep
turning for enough time as a result of
inadequate charging. In this case, check that
the ON/STANDBY indicator turns red after
turning off the power, and then unplug the
power cord.
• When the power is turned on soon after it has
been turned off, it may take some time until
the lamp will light on.
