BELTADJUSTMENTPROCEDURE

1.Turnonthepowerswitchlocatedonthefrontoftreadmill.InserttheSAFETY

KEYontheitsposition.

2.PresstheSPEEDbuttontoincreasethespeedto2.0mph/3.2kph.▲

3.Whiletheunitisrunningat2.0mph/3.2kph,determinewherethebeltisinrelation

tothebeltalignmentgauge.

4.Ifthebeltnotbeinthegreenoperatingrange,followthestepsbelowtoreturnthe

belttotheproperoperatingrange.

5.Ifthebeltisintheleftredzone:UsingthehexAllenwrench,turntheleftbelt

adjustmentboltlocatedattherearofthetreadmillclockwise1/4turnatatime.

Thenturntherightbeltadjustmentboltcounterclockwise1/4turn.Letthe

treadmillrun30seconds,thencheckthepositionofthebeltinthebeltalignment

gauge.Ifthebelthasnotreturnedtothegreenoperatingrange,repeatwith

another1/4turnuntilthebelthasreturnedtothemiddleofthegreenoperating

range.Donotturnadjustingboltmorethan1/4turnatonetime.

6.Conversely,ifthebeltisintherightredzone,turntherightbeltadjustmentnut

clockwise1/4turn,thenturntheleftadjustmentboltcounterclockwise1/4turn.

Thenletthetreadmillrunatleast30seconds,checkthepositionofthebeltinthe

beltalignmentgauge.Ifitstillhasnotreturnedtothegreenoperatingrange,

repeatwithanother1/4turnuntilthebelthasreturntothemiddleofthegreen

operatingrange.Donotturnadjustingboltmorethan1/4turnatonetime.

7.Whenthebelthasreturnedtothegreenoperatingrange,slowlyincreasethe

speedoftheunitto5.5MPH(9KPH),andletitrunforatleast45secondsto

confirmproperbeltalignement.
