Donot exposegeneratorto rain or wetconditions.Waterenteringa generatorwill increasethe risk of
electricshock.
Donot abusethe powercord. Keeppowercordsawayfrom heat,oil, sharpedges,or movingparts.Replace
damagedpowercordsimmediately.Damagedpowercordsincreasethe riskof electricshock.
Whenoperatinga powertool outside,useanoutdoorextensioncordmarked"W-A"or "W".Theseextension
cordsareratedfor outdooruse,andreducethe riskof electricshock.
All connectionsandconduitsfrom thegeneratorto the loadmustonly beinstalledbytrainedandlicensed
electricians,andin compliancewith all relevantlocal,state,andfederalelectricalcodesandstandards,and
otherregulationswhereapplicable.
Thegeneratormustbeearth-groundedfor fixedinstallationsin accordancewithall relevantelectricalcodes
andstandardsbeforeoperation.
Donot attemptto connector disconnectloadconnectionswhilestandingin water,or wet or soggyground.
Donot touchelectricallyenergizedpartsof the generatorandinterconnectingcablesor conductorswith any
partof the body,or withanynon-insulatedconductiveobject.
Connectthegeneratoronly to a loador electricalsystem(110/120volt) that is compatiblewith theelectrical
characteristicsandratedcapacitiesof thegenerator.
Beforeservicingequipmentpoweredbythe generator,disconnectthe equipmentfrom its powerinput.
Keepallelectricalequipmentcleananddry. Replaceanywiringwherethe insulationis cracked,cut abraded
or otherwisedegraded.Replaceterminalsthatareworn,discolored,or corroded.Keepterminalscleanand
tight.
Insulateall connectionsanddisconnectedwires.
Guardagainstelectricshock.Preventbodycontactwith groundedsurfacessuchaspipes,radiators,ranges,
and refrigeratorenclosures.

Stay alert. Watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operating a generator. Do not use
generator while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inattention while
operating generators may result in serious personal injury.
