to outlet cover plate and make ground connection to grounded outlet.
c) For all other grounded, cord-connected battery chargers:
This battery charger is for use on a circuit having a nominal rating more than
90V (or This appliance is rated more than 15A and is for use on a circuit having
a global AC input (90V - 270V) and is factory fitted with a specific electric cord
and plug to permit connection to an acceptable electric circuit. Make sure that
the charger is connected to an outlet having the same configuration as the plug.
No adapter should be used with this charger.

When the charger is on, feel the temperature of the batteries, they should not
be noticeably hotter than the surrounding
ambient temperature. If the batteries are hot to the touch then they need
major investigation, check the charger voltage is
within parameters. If it is then the battery/s must be checked as they are
probably defective. Never walk away from warm-hot batteries as there is
a major problem, switch the charger off.
