Turn knob or lever above rear
handle 90° counterclockwise.
•
Lift off the carburetor box cover
vertically.

Remove the screw (1)
•
Pull out the shutter (2) and refit it
in the "winter" position
(bottom illustration)
•
Insert screw and tighten it down.
Preheated air from around the cylinder is
now drawn in along with cold air - this
helps prevent carburetor icing.

Pry the shutter out of the
carburetor box cover and slide it
into the slot at the bottom end of
the carburetor box cover.
