2 IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS Please review the following information. Failure to observe this information may cause injuries or material damage. Furthermore, all warranty and reliability commitments will become invalid. Intended use This product is intended to be used indoors and in closed areas such as homes; in closed working environments such as stores and offices; in closed accommodation areas such as offices and hotels. It should not be used outdoors.
Do not pull on the cable when disconnecting the appliance; grasp the plug and pull firmly. Be sure that beverages with high alcohol content are stored tightly closed and in a vertical position. Never store spray cans containing flammable or explosive substances in the refrigerator. Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not touch the plug with wet hands when plugging in or unplugging the product. Do not plug in the refrigerator if the wall outlet is loose. For safety reasons, water should not be sprayed on inner or outer parts of the product. To avoid fire and explosion risk, do not spray substances containing inflammable gases such as propane near the refrigerator. Never place containers filled with water on top of the refrigerator; in the event of spillages, this could cause electric shock or fire.
Refrigerant warning This appliance is CFC- and HFC-free and contains small quantities of Isobutane (R600a) which is environmentally friendly, but flammable. It does not damage the ozone layer, nor does it increase the greenhouse effect. Care must be taken during transportation and setting up of the appliance that no parts of the cooling system are damaged. Leaking coolant can ignite and may damage the eyes.

3 Installation Before starting the refrigerator Check the following before you start to use your refrigerator: 1. Attach 2 plastic spacers as illustrated below. The spacers are intended to keep the proper distance between your refrigerator and the wall to ensure optimum air circulation. (The picture is provided as a representation and is not meant to be identical with your product.) 2. Clean the interior of the appliance as recommended in the “Maintenance and cleaning” section. 3.
Disposing of the packaging The packing materials may be dangerous for children. Keep the packing materials out of the reach of children or dispose of these materials as required by your local community. The packing of your appliance is produced from recyclable materials. Placement and Installation If the entranceway of the room where the refrigerator will be installed is not wide enough, call an authorized service center to have them remove the doors of your appliance and pass it sideways through the door.
Replacing the light bulb Sliding storage boxes If the interior light is not working, proceed as follows. 1. Turn off the appliance and pull out the plug. You may find it helpful to remove shelves for easy access. 2. Use a flat-tipped screwdriver to remove the light diffuser cover. 3. First check that the bulb hasn’t worked loose by ensuring it is screwed securely into the holder. Replace the plug and switch on. 4.

4 Preparation Your refrigerator should be installed at least 12" away from heat sources such as stoves, radiators and space heaters and at least 2" away from electric ovens and should not be located in direct sunlight. The ambient temperature of the room where you install your refrigerator should be at least 50°F. Operating your refrigerator under cooler conditions is not recommended with regard to its efficiency. Please make sure that the interior of your refrigerator is cleaned thoroughly.
Using your refrigerator thermostat knob to the “0” position. Please note that there will be different temperatures in the cooling area. The coldest region of the refrigerator compartment is immediately above the crisper drawers. The interior temperature also depends on ambient temperature, the frequency with which the door is opened and the amount of food kept inside. Frequent opening of the door causes the interior temperature to rise.
Cooling food Food storage The fridge compartment is for the short-term storage of fresh food and drinks. Store milk products in the indicated compartment in the refrigerator. Bottles can be stored in the bottle holder or on the bottle shelf of the door. Raw meat is best kept in a plastic bag in the compartment at the very bottom of the refrigerator. Allow hot foods and beverages to cool to room 15 temperature before placing them in the refrigerator.
Defrosting the appliance exceeded, and the temperature inside the freezer will not rise. The refrigerator compartment defrosts automatically. The thawing water flows through the drain channel into a collection container at the rear of the device. Never use any sharp instrument or abrasive soap, household cleaner, detergent or wax polish for cleaning. Use lukewarm water to clean the cabinet of your refrigerator and wipe it dry. Use a damp cloth wrung out in a solution of one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to one pint of water to clean the interior and wipe it dry.
Protection of plastic surfaces Do not put liquid oils or fried food into your refrigerator in unsealed containers as they can damage the plastic surfaces of your refrigerator. In case of spilling or smearing oil on a plastic surface, clean and rinse the relevant part at once with warm water. When moving your appliance 1. Your refrigerator should be unplugged and stored contents removed. 2. Shelves, accessories, crisper, etc.
7 Troubleshooting Please review this list before calling for service. It will save you time and money. The list includes frequent complaints that do not arise from defective workmanship or material usage. Some of the features described here may not exist in your product. The refrigerator does not operate. The plug is not inserted into the socket correctly. >> Insert the plug into the socket securely. The fuse of the socket or the main fuse has blown out. >> Check the fuse.
The noise of operation increases when the appliance is running. The operating performance of the appliance may change due to changes in ambient temperature. This is normal. The compressor runs frequently or for a long time. Your new appliance may be wider than the previous one. Larger refrigerators operate for a longer period of time. Room temperature may be high. >> It is normal that the appliance operates for longer periods in a hot atmosphere.
Temperature in the fridge or freezer is very high. The fridge temperature is adjusted to a very high value. >> Fridge compartment temperature setting has an effect on the temperature of the freezer. Change the temperature of the fridge or freezer and wait until the relevant compartments attain a suitable temperature. Doors are opened frequently or left ajar for a long time. >> Do not open the doors more often than necessary. Door is ajar. >> Close the door completely.
Bad odor inside the refrigerator. Regular cleaning has not been performed. >> Clean the inside of the refrigerator regularly with a sponge, lukewarm water or baking soda dissolved in water. Some food containers or wrapping materials may cause the smell. >> Use a different container or different brand of wrapping material. Food is put into the refrigerator in uncovered containers. >> Keep food in closed containers. Microorganisms coming from uncovered containers can cause unpleasant odors.
8 Limited warranty ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Within the 48 contiguous United States, for one year from the date of purchase, when this appliance is operated and maintained according to instructions attached to or furnished with the product, warrantor will pay for factory-specified parts and repair labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship. Service must be provided by a designated service company. Outside the 48 states, all parts are warranted for one year from manufacturing defects.

4 Preparación El frigorífico debe instalarse dejando una separación de por lo menos 30 cm respecto de fuentes de calor tales como quemadores, radiadores o estufas y de por lo menos 5 cm respecto de hornos eléctricos, evitando asimismo su exposición directa a la luz solar. La temperatura ambiente de la estancia donde instale el frigorífico no debe ser inferior a 10 ºC. A temperaturas inferiores, el frigorífico puede ver reducida su eficacia.
Uso del frigorífico La zona más fría se encuentra situada justo encima de los cajones de frutas y verduras. La temperatura interior depende asimismo de la temperatura ambiente, la frecuencia de apertura de la puerta y la cantidad de alimentos almacenados. Una apertura frecuente de la puerta provoca un aumento de la temperatura del interior. Por este motivo, se recomienda cerrar la puerta lo antes posible después de cada uso.
Refrigeración de los alimentos antes de introducirlos en el frigorífico. Almacenamiento de los alimentos Atención: Los productos con alto grado El compartimento refrigerador está destinado al almacenamiento de alimentos frescos y bebidas por un periodo de tiempo breve. Almacene los productos lácteos en el compartimento destinado a tal efecto. Las botellas pueden guardarse en el portabotellas o en el estante para botellas de la puerta.
Descongelación del electrodoméstico y no aumentará la temperatura en el interior del congelador. El frigorífico se descongela de manera automática. El agua de descongelación circula a través del conducto de desagüe hasta un recipiente de recogida situado en la parte trasera del frigorífico. Cuando la sección de alimentos frescos está realizando un ciclo de descongelación, es normal ver gotitas de agua congeladas en el evaporador si el agua no se ha escurrido completamente del mismo.
