Fountain Cleaning:
Unplug the fountain, remove the water tank and lid, and remove the
lters.
DO NOT
unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the AC
Adapter, not the cord.
Empty the water from the base and water tank.
Clean the base, water tank, and cap in a solution of warm water and
mild liquid soap. Never use abrasive cleansers, steel wool pads or
other abrasive materials. Rinse well.
Note - The base is dishwasher safe when placed on the top rack. (If
your dishwasher runs too hot it may damage the base. Hand washing
is preferred).
Disconnect the AC Adaptor from the electrical cord.
Clean the lid in warm soapy water taking special care with the
attached parts.
Clean hair and other debris from
the pump intake grate with a small
brush such as a toothbrush.
Note-
DO NOT
change the pump setting.

The fountain should be cleaned once a week to maintain normal function.

Decalcifying and disinfecting your water fountain
Minerals (calcium) found in water will leave deposits in your fountain and
pump and will affect its performance. It’s recommended that you regularly
remove these deposits by soaking the fountain and pump in equal parts
white vinegar and water for several minutes. Rinse thoroughly with
regular water.
If the parts of your water fountain feel slimy, it is recommended that you
soak all parts in equal parts white vinegar and water for several minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with regular water.
