5.9 (Powered) seang opons
The wheelchair can be equipped by the following mechanical and/or
powered opons to adjust your seang posion. These opons can
be operated by the user without the use of tools.
Powered adjustable seang opons (Fig.5.9 - Fig.5.11).
How to operate these powered seang opons can be found in &
Controller + & Seang:
1. Powered lt funcon
2. Powered seat elevator
3. Powered backrest recline
4. Powered elevang leg rests
DANGER!
• Use of the powered adjustable seang opons may inuence the
stability of the wheelchair.
• Only use the powered adjustable seang opons when the
wheelchair is on a at surface! Do Not aempt to operate any
power seang opon while posioned on an incline.
• Please stay clear of any powered actuator while the component
is in moon. Sunrise power mechanisms move over large ranges
of travel. Users should be aware of their surroundings while
components are in moon.
• While driving this seang system in the reclined, elevated, or lted
posion use cauon.
• Do Not aempt to operate any power seang opon while this
seang system is in moon.
• Do not aempt to operate the li or lt power seang opons
around children.
• Through programming it is possible to reverse the direcon of all
powered seang funcons, ensure you know which direcon your
seat is going to move before operang.
• Please be aware that the li/lt modules present a trap hazard.
Make sure that during operaon the li/lt modules are free from
all clothing, hands, feet and other extremies, to prevent injury.
• Do not drive on ramps or slopes with the seang in the elevated
posion. Before aempng to climb or descend a slope, return the
wheelchair to a standard seated drive posion, with the backrest
upright.
• This power system is designed to automacally reduce the
maximum driving speed to a creep mode or stop when certain
power seang limits are reached. Depending on the conguraon
of the chair there might be mulple creep speeds.
