6.4 Baery warranty:
Baery warranes are subject to periods set by the
manufacturers. However, most of these warranes are subject
to a wear and tear clause, and if you genuinely wear out
your baeries in 6 months, it will not be possible to obtain a
replacement under warranty.
6.5 Replacing baeries
The wheelchair uses two 12V non-spillable ‘dry’ gel baeries
in series, these baeries are fully sealed and require no
maintenance.
Replacing and servicing baeries is to be done by qualied
specialist.
In case of malfunconing baeries, contact your local dealer.
DANGER!
Do not aempt to replace or service baeries without the
supervision of trained and qualied personnel.
6.6 Disconnecng baeries for air transport.
The baeries are contained within the drive unit located under the
baery shroud.
To disconnect the baeries on Mid-wheel drive:
Release the two handle screws under the front of the seat frame,
that connect the seat frame with the seat module interface,
(Fig.6.2).
Flip the seat frame backwards (Fig.6.3).
Ensure the seat is secured with the seat stay in place, before
leng go, (Fig.6.4 - A).
Li o the baery box lid, (Fig. 6.4 - B).
Disconnect the 2 pin Anderson connectors from each baery
(Fig.6.5).
To reconnect the baeries reverse the above procedure.
