6.4 Baery warranty:
Baery warranes are subject to periods set by the
manufacturers. However, most of these warranes are subject
to a wear and tear clause, and if you genuinely wear out
your baeries in 6 months, it will not be possible to obtain a
replacement under warranty.
6.5 Replacing baeries
The wheelchair uses two 12V non-spillable ‘dry’ gel baeries
in series, these baeries are fully sealed and require no
maintenance.
Replacing and servicing baeries is to be done by qualied
specialist.
In case of malfunconing baeries, contact your local dealer.
DANGER!
• Do not aempt to replace or service baeries without the
supervision of trained and qualied personnel.
6.6 Disconnecng baeries for air transport.
The baeries are contained within the drive unit located under the
baery shroud.
To disconnect the baeries on Mid-wheel drive:
• Release the two handle screws under the front of the seat frame,
that connect the seat frame with the seat module interface,
(Fig.6.2).
• Flip the seat frame backwards (Fig.6.3).
• Ensure the seat is secured with the seat stay in place, before
leng go, (Fig.6.4 - A).
• Li o the baery box lid, (Fig. 6.4 - B).
• Disconnect the 2 pin Anderson connectors from each baery
(Fig.6.5).
To reconnect the baeries reverse the above procedure.
