ed.Provideadequateclearancearoundairopeninginthecombustionchamberandadequateaccessibilityclearancefor
servicing and proper operation.
NEVER obstruct the front opening of the replace.
WARNING: Any safety guard remove for servicing and appliance must be replaced before operating the appliance.

Unpacking
Unpacktheappliancecarefullyandinspectformissingpartsordamagesthatmayhaveoccurredduringshipping.Ifany
partoftheapplianceismissingordamaged,pleasenotifySureHeatManufacturingat(800)229-5647.
Fireplace Preparation
Thereplaceneedstobeproperlypreparedbeforeinstallingthisreplaceunit.
1. Turnoffgassupplytothereplace.
2. Cleanchimneyandreplaceoorofanycombustiblematerialtolimitthesmellfromthesystem.
Gas Piping and Gas Pressure Requirements
PREPARATION
• Checkthetypeofgasthatissuppliedtoyourreplace.Onlyinstalltheunitthatisequippedtooperateonthegas
 thatissuppliedtoyourreplace.
• Allgaspipingmustbeinstalledtocomplywithlocalandnationalfuelgascodes.
• CompoundsusedonthreadedjointsofgaspipingmustberesistanttotheactionofL.P.gas.
• Beforeinstallingtheunit,itisnecessarytoclosethemaingasvalveatthegasmeterorL.P.tank.Ensurethatthere
 isproperventilationintheareainwhichsystemisoperating.
