A safe operation can no longer be assumed, if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage,
- the product does not work at all or well (fl ickering light, leaking smoke or a
smell of burning, the light fl ickers, audible cracking noises, discolouration to the
product or the adjacent surfaces.)
- the product was stored under unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous play-
things for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the employer’s
liability insurance association for electrical systems and operating facilities are to
be observed!

technical service or another specialist.
Getting Started, Operation
• Attach the LED plug-in lamp to the grounded socket.
Since the LED plug-in lamp has an inbuilt dimmer, it cannot be connected to or oper-
ated with a second external dimmer!
• The knob on the front side is intended to switch on/off the lamp and adjust the light inten-
sity in an uninterrupted fashion.
• Adjust the swanneck, so as to align the lamp as desired.
Maintenance and Care
• The LED plug-in lamp is maintenance-free. The LED lamp has a long service life and is ir-
replaceable.
• Before cleaning the LED plug-in lamp, the mains plug must be disconnected from the mains
socket. After that, allow suffi cient time for the plug-in lamp to cool down.
• The exterior of the LED plug-in lamp should only be wiped with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do
not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the housing
(discolouring) or impair operation.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory
regulations.

The plug-in lamp is intended for illuminating indoor areas; it may be used and placed only in
dry interiors. The product is intended to be inserted in a wall socket.
Any other use than that described above may damage the product. Moreover, this may give
rise to hazards such as short-circuiting, fi re, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may
be modifi ed or converted!

must not get damp or wet.

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequen-
tial damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such cases,
the warranty will be void!
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not allowed
for safety and approval reasons (CE). Never dismantle the product.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• The product may only be operated on the mains voltage (see section "Technical
Data"). Never try to operate the product at another voltage as this will cause its
destruction.
• The device is designed according to safety class I. Use the product only with a
usual grounded socket.
• The product may only be used in dry areas indoors. The light must not be exposed
to damp or moisture; danger of a fatal electric shock!
• Do not use this lamp in spaces or under adverse ambient conditions where com-
bustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not hang or attach any items (e.g. decorations) to the plug-in lamp.
• Attention, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into the
beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or strong
mechanical stress.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, discon-
nect the product immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation. Let an
expert check the product.
