The re damper is ready for installation when its blades are in open position.
Follow next steps (see Fig. 26):
1. Check the thermal fuse link. Thermal fuse link is inserted only in one blade and both parts of the link hold together.
2. Press both detent springs.
3. Open the blades into a parallel position
4. Press the blades together until the fuse link holds both blades.
The blade position, if using a DV1 or DV1-2 version, is indicated by an end switch, which indicates the damper blades’
open and closed position (Fig. 24 or Fig. 25) .
