Installing the
Battery
1. Turn off th e radio an d h old it with th e back of
th e radio facin g upward
2. In sert th e top edge of th e battery in to th e area
at th e top of th e radio between th e radio’s
case an d ch assis. Make sure th e th ree tabs on
th e radio ch assis align with th e th ree slots
un der th e top edge of th e battery.
3. Rotate th e battery toward th e radio, an d
squeeze th e battery an d radio togeth er un til
th e battery “clicks” in place.
Removing the
Battery
1. Turn off th e radio an d h old it so th at th e release
button on th e bottom of th e battery is facin g
upward.
2. Press down ward on th e release button so th e
battery disen gages from th e radio.
3. Rem ove th e battery com pletely away from th e
radio
Belt Clip NOTE: Th e battery m ust be rem oved from th e radio
before th e belt clip can be in stalled or rem oved.
Installing the
Belt Clip
1. Hold th e battery in on e h an d so th at th e top of
th e battery faces upward, an d th e back of th e
battery faces you.
2. Holdin g th e belt clip in th e oth er h an d with its
top facin g upward, align th e slide assem bly on
th e fron t of th e belt clip with th e slots on th e
back of th e battery.
3. Slide th e belt clip down ward toward th e bottom
of th e battery un til th e belt clip “clicks” in place.

1. Hold th e battery (with belt clip in stalled) in on e
h an d so th at th e top of th e battery faces upward,
an d th e fron t (radio side) of th e battery faces
you.
2. At th e top of th e battery, press down on th e belt
clip’s m etal tab an d slide th e belt clip upward
un til it disen gages from th e battery.
3. Con tin ue to slide th e belt clip upward un til it is
free from th e battery.
