1. Turnoffallelectricpowertothewaterheaterifserviceistobeperformed.
2. Turnthemanualgasvalvelocatedontheoutsideoftheunitclockwise3totheoffposition.
• Ensure that any and all gas regulators used are operating properly and
providing gas pressures within the specified range shown below. Excess gas
inletpressuremaycauseseriousaccidents.
• Conversion of this unit from natural gas to propane or vise versa cannot be
doneinthefield.Contactyourlocaldistributortogetthecorrectunitforyour
gas type. Conversion done by anyone other than the manufacturer or Takagi
Service Representative will void all warranty.Takagi is not liable
for any
propertyand/orpersonaldamageresultingfromunauthorizedconversions.

1. Theminimumandmaximuminletgaspressuresare:

2. Gas pressure below this specified range for the T‐H2‐DV/T‐H2‐OS and/or insufficient gas volume
willadverselyaffectperformance.ThesepressuresaremeasuredwhentheT‐H2‐DV/T‐H2‐OSisin
fulloperation.
3. Inletgaspressure mustnot exceedthe abovemaximumvalues;gas pressureabove
thespe cified
rangewillcausedangerousoperating conditionsanddamagetotheunit.
4. Until testing of the main gas line supply pressure is completed, ensure the gas line to the T‐H2‐
DV/T‐H2‐OSisdisconnectedtoavoidanydamagetothewaterheater.

1. Shutoffthemanualgasvalveonthesupplygasline .
2. Removethe
screwforthepressureportlocatedonthegas
inletoftheT‐H2‐DV/T‐H2‐OSshowninthediagramtothe
right.
3. Connectthemanometertothepressureport.
