Sata/PC selector switch (15):
Your WAP provides the usage for the internal HDD on two different ways:
1. Interal usage (switch position “SATA INT“): HDD as a data source for the WAP.
On position “SATA INT“ the HDD is connected to the internal USB-Port of the SMR.
You can access to all contents of the internal SATA HDD through the “USB Storage“
function in the main screen of your WAP.
2. Exteral usage (switch position “SATA EXT“): to copy or transfer files between a
PC and the HDD without the need of any other helping devices.
To connect to a PC, switch the selector to position “SATA EXT“ and connect the
small USB terminal “SATA/PC“ (14) to a USB-Port of the PC. Now you can use the
WAP's internal SATA HDD like any other external USB storage to your PC.
Note: To re-connect the SATA harddisk for the normal usage with your WAP, switch
back the selector into position “SATA INT“ after you have finished the transactions
with your PC!
