LG700x LG700x Rear Panel 1. DIP Switches: The DIP switches can be used to set the fixtures to a certain setting / mode. When the fixture is connect to a DMX controller use the DIP switches to assign an address to the fixture. 2. Microphone: This built-in microphone will pickup any sounds when the unit is being operated in sound-activated mode. The fixture will illuminate changes according to the sound. 3.
LG700x AC Power: This fixture runs on 110VAC, 50/60 Hz. Before powering on the unit, make sure the line voltage to which you are connecting it is within the range of accepted voltages. Always connect the fixture to a switched circuit. Never connect the fixture to a rheostat (variable resistor) or dimmer circuit, even if the rheostat or dimmer channel is used only as a 0 to 100% switch.
LG700x What is DMX: There are 512 channels in a DMX connection. Channels may be assigned in any manner. A fixture capable of receiving DMX will require one or a number of sequential channels. The user must assign a starting address on the fixture that indicates the first channel reserved in the controller. There are many different types of DMX controllable fixtures and they all may vary in the total number of channels required. Choosing a start address should be planned in advance.
LG700x DIP Instructions: No. Function 1 If 10 is”on”, it is Auto-pilot, 3,4,5,6 is for auto mode setting 1,2 is speed for auto mode. 2 If 9,10 are”on”, it is strobe mode, 3,4,5,6 is setting for strobe mode, 1,2 is speed for strobe. 3 If 8,10 are”on”, RGB LED will be bright. 4 If 7,10 are”on’’, it is sound-activated mode. 5 If 6,10 are”on”, it is mode”4’’,1,2 is speed for for mode 4. 6 If 5,10 are”on”, it is mode”3”, 1,2 is speed for mode 3.
LG700x DIP Detail function The Number under the DIP address: 1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512, it works with DMX Controller, when the DMX controller connect with the lights and many lights work together, you can set different lights with different channel of DMX Controller as the first channel of a special lights. In fact, this change the lights first channel position, And you can use one DMX controller to control many lights to show many different effects.
LG700x IF 5 on, it means to use the Channel 16 of the DMX controller to be the CH1 of a special lights. Then the next channel17 of the DMX controller as the CH2 to control the lights, and so on... IF 6 on, it means to use the Channel 32 of the DMX controller to be the CH1 of a special lights. Then the next channel 33 of the DMX controller as the CH2 to control the lights, and so on... IF 7 on, it means to use the Channel 64 of the DMX controller to be the CH1 of a special lights.
LG700x IF 1 and 3 on, it is 1+4=5, it means to use the Channel 5 of the DMX controller to be the CH1 of a special lights, then the next channel 6 of the DMX controller as the CH2 to control the lights, and so on. IF 4 and 5 on, it is 8+16=24, it means to use the Channel 24 of the DMX controller to be the CH1 of a special lights, then the next channel 25 of the DMX controller as the CH2 to control the lights, and so on.
LG700x 12 Channel Mode (DMX): When use the LG700x together with a DMX controller, set the DIP to 1 on, then use the DMX controller to adjust the settings of CH1, CH2, CH3 and CH4, CH5, CH6, CH7, CH8 to show different effect. DMX512 Function: For CH4, CH5, CH6, CH7, CH8, CH9, CH10, each channel controls one separate LED lens with the same program in diffusion effect and RGB static effect.
LG700x Master-Slave set Two or more than two identical lamps connected with 3-pin DMX signal cable, set any one as host as demo or gradual or other play mode, other lamps receiving address set as DMX mode(DIP 1 on), the master-slave feature allows you control multiple units without having to go each unit and alter the settings, allowing you to quickly adjust the color output throughout the entire venue in seconds. Note: When using the master / slave setup only ONE unit can act as the master.
