7.15.5.5 EPG/SFI search
Information about a given programme can be searched automatically. To do that, enter the program-
me title in full or in part. EPG/SFI will search the data for the programme.
7.15.5.6 Deactivating EPG/SFI
> Pressing Menu or TV/Radio returns the device to normal mode.
7.16 Timer sleep
> Pressing Timer sleep several times sets the time of turning the receiver o from 15 minutes to 2 ho-
urs. After the set up time, the receiver will automatically switch over to standby mode.
7.17 Recording timer
The DVR timer allows the user to record currently broadcasted programmes on a connected recor-
ding device. The receiver is additionally equipped with a VCR recording timer and channel switch ti-
mer. While programming, individual timer types di er only by their type name that has to be entered.
The timer can be programmed manually as described in this point or by means of the EPG/SFI function.
1. DVR timer
This function enables turning the digital receiver on and o to make recordings on the data storage
media when the user is absent. Turning the device on by means of the DVR timer is signalled on the di-
splay with the “rEc” symbol.
Some of the remote control functions are deactivated (e.g. turning the main menu on).
2. Station switch timer
If the device is in normal mode, it will switch over to the programmed channel at the set time. In con-
trast to the DVR timer settings, the device can be in limitless operation and it will not turn o at the
end of the programme.
3. On/o function timer
If the device is in standby mode, it will turn on to the programmed channel at the set time. In contrast
to the DVR timer or video settings, the device can be in limitless operation and it will not turn o at
the end of the programme.
7.17.1 Manual programming of the timer
> Press Menu to open main menu.
> Use the up/down arrows to select the Timer Con guration line.
> Con rm by pressing OK to proceed to the Timer Con guration menu.
> Select timer type using the up /down arrows.
> Pressing OK opens the edition window in order to programme the timer for a new event.
Choose the channel list, channel, date, start time, end time and repeat mode.
