For your safety and correct operation of the dishwasher, read this manual carefully before installation and use. Always keep these instructions with the appliance even if you move or sell it. Users must fully know the operation and safety features of the appliance. This appliance is intended for indoor use only.

QUICK START GUIDE Step 1 Correctly install the appliance. Ensure it is connected securely to the mains power source and water supply using the supplied hose. Step 2 Switch on the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button. Check the front panel indicates power is supplied to the appliance. Step 3 Open the dishwasher door and fill the detergent dispenser (Refer to Fig.1). Fill compartment A with each wash cycle. Fill compartment B when choosing programs with a pre-wash cycle.

RINSE AID & DETERGENT DISPENSER As the rinse aid diminishes, the size of the black dot on the rinse aid level indicator changes, as illustrated below. FUNCTION OF DETERGENT Detergents with its chemical ingredients are necessary to remove dirt and transport it out of the dishwasher. Most of the commercial quality detergents are suitable for this purpose. DETERGENTS There are 3 types of detergents: 1. With both phosphate and chlorine 2. With phosphate and without chlorine 3. Without both phosphate and chlorine Normally, modern pulverised detergents do not contain phosphate. Because of this, the water softener function of phosphate is less effective.
AMOUNT OF DETERGENT TO USE Fig.5a Push latch to open CAUTION: DO NOT LIFT LATCH. • If the lid is closed: Press release button. The lid will spring open. (Refer to Fig. 5a) • Always add the detergent just before starting each wash cycle. • Only use detergent designed for dishwasher use. Check detergent instructions on packaging. LOADING THE DISHWASHER RECOMMENDATIONS • Consider buying dishes, glassware, mugs, cups, cutlery, etc. which are identified as dishwasher-proof or dishwasher-safe. • Use a mild detergent that is described as ‘kind to dishes’. If necessary, seek further information from the detergent manufacturers. • For particularly delicate or thin items, select a program with as low a wash temperature as possible. Refer to Page 12.
LOADING UPPER BASKET LOADING LOWER BASKET The upper basket is designed to hold more delicate and lighter dishware such as glasses, coffee and tea cups, saucers, plates, small bowls and shallow pans (as long as they are not too dirty). Position the dishes and cookware so that they will not get moved by water spray. It is suggested that you place large items and the most difficult to clean items to be placed into the lower basket: such as pots, pans, lids, serving dishes and bowls. Refer to Fig.8 below.

START/PAUSE BUTTON When you press the Start/Pause button during a wash cycle, the selected program indicator will stop blinking and the buzzer will sound each minute until the Start/Pause button is pressed and the wash cycle resumes. CHANGING THE PROGRAM 1. A wash program should only be modified if it has been running for a short time. Otherwise, the detergent may have been released and wash water drained. If this is the case, refill the detergent dispenser prior to starting another program.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE FILTERING SYSTEM The filter prevents larger remnants of food or other objects from getting inside the pump. The residues may block the filter, in this case they must be removed. The filter system consists of a coarse filter,a flat (main filter) and a micro filter (fine filter). Fig.13 1. MAIN FILTER Food and dirt particles trapped in this filter are pulverized by a special jet on the lower spray arm and washed down the drain. 2 1 2.
- Inspect the filters for blockages after each use. - By unscrewing the coarse filter, you can remove the filter system. Remove any food scraps and debris by cleaning the filters under running water. The entire filter assembly should be checked regularly and cleaned once a week. CLEANING THE FILTER To clean the coarse and fine filter, use a cleaning brush. Reassemble the filter parts (refer to page 14) and reinsert the entire assembly in the dishwasher, positioning it in place and pressing downwards.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE WHEN NOT USED FOR LONG PERIODS It is recommended that you run a wash cycle with the dishwasher empty and then remove the power plug from the socket, turn off the water supply and leave the door of the appliance slightly open. This will help the door seals to last longer and prevent odours from forming within the dishwasher. AFTER EACH WASH After every wash, turn off the water supply to the dishwasher and leave the door slightly open so that moisture and odours are not trapped inside.
POWER CONNECTION (CONT.) CHECK DISHWASHER IS PROPERLY GROUNDED BEFORE USE Ensure the voltage and frequency of the power being supplied corresponds to those on the rating plate. Only insert the plug into an electrical socket which is earthed properly. This dishwasher is designed to operate on a single phase power supply within a voltage range of 220~240V/50Hz.
AQUA-STOP HOSE The Aqua-stop hose consists of double walls. The hose system guarantees its intervention by blocking the flow of water in cases where the supply hose breaks or when the space between the supply hose itself and the outer corrugated hose is full of water. DISCONNECTING THE AQUA-STOP HOSE Step 1 Turn off the water at the source. Step 2 Release the water pressure by depressing the hose slightly. Step 3 Unscrew the Aqua-stop hose from the faucet.
DRAINING EXCESS WATER If the sink is greater than 1m high off the floor, the excess water in the hoses cannot be drained directly into the sink. It will be necessary to drain excess water from the hoses into a bowl or suitable container that is held outside and lower than the sink. WATER OUTLET Connect the water drain hose. The drain hose must be correctly fitted to avoid water leaks. Ensure that the water drain hose is not kinked or squashed.
TROUBLESHOOTING TECHNICAL ISSUES Problem Dishwasher does not start Water is not pumped from the dishwasher Suds in the tub Stained tub interior Possible Causes Blown fuse or circuit breaker has been triggered. Possible solutions Check and replace fuse if necessary. Reset circuit breaker and remove any appliances sharing the circuit. Power supply is not switched on. Check the dishwasher is switched on and the door securely closed. Check the power cord is correctly plugged into the mains power source.

Never use any other chemical or cleaner. The affected items are not corrosion resistant Ensure your cutlery is dishwasher safe. Consider obtaining corrosion resistant cutlery.
