Push-To-Connect
Water Heater Installation Kit
PUSH TO CONNECT
Removal tool
(sold separately).
Place tool around
pipe next to
fitting. Press tool
toward fitting
while pulling pipe
from fitting.
Push Installation
Mark insertion
depth using the
depth gauge
(sold separately).

Push pipe (A) and
twist (B) into fitting
until fitting edge
meets depth line.

Cut pipe.

The push end of Tectite by Apollo connectors can be used with Copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or PEX pipe. They are
removeable and reusable. Install wet or dry. Tube liners (included) are required to join PEX tubing.
1. Apply thread sealing tape to all male threads.
2. Attach 3/4 in. FIP end of 18 in. CSST connector with ball valve to cold water inlet of water heater. Hand tighten and turn 1/4 with
wrench. Do not overtighten or expose to corrosive materials.
3. Attach 3/4 in. FIP end of second CSST connector to hot water outlet of water heater. Hand tighten and turn 1/4 with wrench. Do
not overtighten or expose to corrosive materials.
