7.3.4.6. HESSEN PROTOCOL GAS ID
The M100E Analyzer is a single gas instrument that measures SO
2
. As such, its default gas ID has already been
set to 110. There is no need to change this setting.
7.3.4.7. SETTING HESSEN PROTOCOL STATUS FLAGS
Teledyne API’s implementation of Hessen protocols includes a set of status bits that the instrument includes in
responses to inform the host computer of its condition. Each bit can be assigned to one operational and warning
message flag. The default settings for these bit/flags are listed on Table 7-15:
