4. Disconnect the current loop option PCA from the appropriate connector on the motherboard (refer to
Figure 5-2).

ector, J19 and J23, requires two shunts. Place one shunt on the two left most pins and the
second shunt on the two pins next to it (refer to Figure 5-2).

instruments keyboard and display PCA.

5.7. CALIBRATION VALVES OPTIONS
5.7.1. ZERO/SPAN VALVES (OPT 50A)
The M100E SO

analyzer can be equipped with a zero/span valve option for controlling the flow of calibration
gases generated from external sources. This option contains two, sets of Teflon
®
solenoid valves located inside
the analyzer that allow the user to switch either zero, span or sample gas to the instrument’s sensor. Figure 5-3
show
s the internal, pneumatic connections for a M100E with the zero/span valve option installed.
