INSTALLATION
Connect downdraft to power
1.
Plug electrical panel cable into lower receptacle as shown.
Plug the downdraft’s power cord into the 3-pronged receptacle.
Make sure that the power cord is routed away from the heat
generated by the cooktop.

Check operation.
3. Remove all protective  lm and packaging before operation. In order to
remove all protective  lm and packaging, raise the intake housing and
remove the front panel to access the  lter area.
Make-up air damper wiring (if required)
(Refer to make-up air damper instructions.)
Connects to 2 contacts on electrical panel.
Install cooking appliance
Align the cooking appliance with downdraft and fasten appliance in
place following appliance instructions.
Note: Accurate alignment of cooking appliance and downdraft is necessary
to ensure that there is no interference when air vent is raised and lowered.
There should be a gap of 1/32" - 1/16" (0.79mm - 1.59mm) between the
back of the cooktop and the front of the downdraft cover.

Attach endcaps to downdraft
Note: Following procedure applies to both endcaps.
1. Use the included special key to loose the endcap retaining screw.
2. Place the endcap over the bracket.
3. Use the included special key to tighten the endcap retaining screw.
4. Check the operation of the downdraft.
