RT304 Water Resistant Thermometer
Instrument Operation
Press the ON/OFF button to activate the thermometer. The unit will
remain in the ON position until switched off by the user. Insert the
stainless steel probe about 25mm (1 inch) into the object to be
measured. The measured temperature will be shown on the LCD
display.
To Select ˚C or ˚F
Press the ˚C/˚F button to select the desired temperature unit.
Using MIN-MAX
Press the MIN/MAX memory button to read the last highest /
maximum temperature measured.
Press once more to read the last lowest / minimum temperature
measured.
Press once more to return to normal display.
Press and hold the button for about 3 seconds then release to
reset the memory.
Battery Installation
Replace the battery if the LCD display becomes dim.
Replace with 1.5 volt, type A76 or equivalent.
Use a coin of suitable size to open the battery cover on the back.
Install the battery observing the correct polarity.
Close the battery cover.
Care and Cleaning
Clean the probe immediately after each measurement to avoid cross contamination.
Do not expose the entire thermometer to temperatures over 122˚F / 50˚C.
Do not use inside ovens. Not submersible.
