Using your telephone
Switch the handset on/off
When your handset is off, press and hold until the screen turns on.
To switch off the handset, press and hold until the screen turns off.
Make a call
Press . When you hear the dial tone, dial the phone number.
Preparatory dialing
1. Enter the phone number first. The number is shown on the display. If you make a mistake, press button
to delete a digit.
2. Press to dial the number.
End a call
1. Press or place the handset back on the base/charger.
Handsfree
1. You can press twice to make or answer a call in handsfree mode.
2. You can press each time you wish to switch between handset and handsfree mode.
Receiving calls
1. If the handset is on the base or charger, simply lift it to answer the call.
2. If the handset is not on the base or charger, when the phone rings, press to answer the call.
Dialing numbers quickly
Numbers can also be dialed directly from the phonebook, the calls list or the redial list.
Adjusting the earpiece volume
During a call, press or button to increase or decrease the handset volume.
Mute the speakerphone
You can ‘Mute’ you handset to stop your caller from hearing you while you talk to someone else close by.
1. During a call, press . The handset microphone is muted and the display shows MUTE ON.
2. Press again to resume your call.
Call timer
After the first 10 seconds of your call, the talking time is to display.
Flash
If the service such as call waiting or forwarding is supported, when having a call and you want to make second
call, press R button and dial the second phone number. The first call will be put on hold.
Redial
1. Press .
2. Press BIS button, the last dialed number will be dialed.
Review/call back incoming and outgoing numbers
1. Review: In standby mode, press button once to enter the incoming list or press BIS button for the dialed
list (the last 5 numbers). Then scroll or button to view the records.
2. Call back: When the desired number is shown, press button to dial the number.
