OPERATION
From EPG
Press the GUIDE button to enter the programme guide. Select an event and channel with the
buttons described on screen. Once the desired event is highlighted, press 4 / 4 to plan a
timer on this event. The event time will be copied into a free Programme Timer. It is possible to
adjust the start and duration time for this timed event.
Manual scheduling
It is possible to manually set a record via the Timer menu. For details refer to chapter 5.3.5
Timer Setting.
NOTE:
In case there is not enough space on the connected USB device, the recording operation
will stop automatically. The maximum allowed Time shift setting is 1h. Available record types: TS: Transport
stream including Teletext, subtitles etc. PS: Programme stream for video and audio only. With THT101 you
can watch one programme while recording another one within the same frequency.
WARNING: Please consider that Time shift needs min. 0.58 GB free space on the USB device and an
accurate Time shift function is depending on the speed of the used USB device.
6.0 OPERATION
6.1 Changing Channels
There are 4 ways of channel selection: stepping through the channel list, selection by number,
from the on-screen channel list, and by using the electronic programme guide (EPG)
1. Stepping through the channel list
To move through the channel list, use the
p/q buttons on the remote control.
2. Selection by direct channel number input
Enter the channel number directly by using numeric buttons, and press the OK button to select
the channel.
3. Selection by on-screen channels list
You can select the required channel directly from the on-screen channel list. To call up the
channel list, press OK in viewing mode. Alternatively, the list can be displayed using the
receiver’s main menu. See chapter 5.1.1 TV Channel list in this manual for operation details.
4. Selection via EPG
You can also select the required channel directly from electronic programme guide (EPG).
To display the EPG, press GUIDE on remote control. See chapter 6.2 below for details.
6.2 Accessing the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG)
1. Press GUIDE to enter EPG menu.
2. Use numeric button 2 to switch the highlight between channel list, events schedule of the
selected channel and now/next events.
3. In the event schedule, press numeric button 3 to book a timer for the highlighted event.
Press OK to open the Detail menu for the selected event.
4. Press numeric button 1 to open the Booking list menu.
6.3 Accessing the favourite channels
1. In viewing mode, press FAV to enter the favourite group menu.
2. Use
p/q to select the desired favourite group.
3. Press OK to enter the favourite channels list, and use
p/q to select the desired channel.
