USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
Before using the appliance for the rst me, you should proceed as follows: carefully unpack the appliance and remove all
packaging material, also from the inside, and any promoonal sckers.
Keep the packaging (plasc bags, polystyrene and cardboard) out of the reach of children.
Aer unpacking the appliance, carefully check it for external damage that may have occurred during transport.
Place the appliance on a sturdy, at surface. Prior to using the machine for the rst me please check whether the electricity
and supply water specicaons match the values indicated by the installaon instrucons for the appliance.
Remove all packaging materials inside the machine.
Fill the salt reservoir and ll up with water unl it almost overows. Set the water hardness seng.
Fill the rinse aid reservoir.
FILLING THE SALT RESERVOIR
For a good washing result, the dishwasher needs so, i.e. less calcareous water. Otherwise, white lime residues will remain
on the dishes and the interior of the dishwasher. This has a negave eect on your applinace’s washing, drying and shining
performance. For this purpose, dishwasher salt is used.
• Remove the basket and unscrew the cap of the
salt reservoir (1).
• Fill with salt ll the overow level, about 1.0 kg
(2).
• Fill the reservoir before rst use with water. It
is normal for a lile water to ow out of the
opening when doing this.
• Screw the cap back on rmly.
ATTENTION!
• Remove any spilled salt and run a full program to prevent corrosion to the boom.
• Rell the salt reservoir when the indicator light of the salt reservoir lights up.
SETTING THE SALT CONSUMPTION
To nd out the water hardness level in your area, contact your local water company. Adjust the salt consumpon according to
the table on the next page.
 Hardness level is adjusted to level 4 as a factory seng.
• Close the door and switch on the machine.
• Press and hold the Program button P for 5 seconds to enter the mode for setting the salt consumption. This must be set
within 60 seconds after turning the machine on.
• Set the level by pressing Program button P repeatedly. Use the table of water hardness level settings.
• After adjusting the level of water hardness, press the On/Off button to confirm and store the setting. If the setting is not
confirmed, it is stored automatically after 5 seconds.





