specictorquevalueshouldbedeterminedbasedonthefastenersize,thealuminumorbasematerial

strength,lengthofthreadengagement,etc.

ThenominaltorquevalueslistedaboveforGrade5and8fastenersarebasedon75%oftheminimum

proofloadspeciedinSAEJ429.Thetoleranceisapproximately±10%ofthenominaltorquevalue.
