GeneralInformation
Unithas2controlsforoperation;starterswitchandsafetybail.Bothcontrols
arenormallyopencircuitsandneededformachineoperation.Whenthestarter
switchhasthekeypresentandbluebuttonpushed,depressingbothinternal
switches,thecircuitsarethenclosed.Whenthebailispulled,closingthecircuit,
themotor/driverissignaledtoturnon.Thestarterswitchreturnstoanopen
stateafterbeingpushed.Thesafetybailswitchwillneedtostayintheclosed
circuit(pulled)positionforoperation.Oncethebailswitchisopened(released),
themotordrivewillbepowereddown.
StarterSwitch
Whenthekeyisinsertedinthestarterswitch,thekeymakescontactwiththe
switchontheleftsideoftheboard.Whenthebluebuttonisdepressed,itmakes
contactwiththerighthandsideswitch.Theswitchhousinghas3Philliphead
screwsholdingtheassemblytogether.Theassemblyhasaspringloaded
retainertoholdthekeyinplacewheninstalledinthehousingassembly.
