Release the control bar. If the bag does not immediately deflate, it indicates that the blade is still rotating.
Installing the Grass Bag Mowing with the Grass Bag 1. Stop the engine and wait for all moving parts to stop. WARNING 2. Ensure that the discharge door handle is fully forward and that the pin is engaged in the catch (Figure 22). A worn grass bag could allow small stones and other similar debris to be thrown in the operator's or bystanders’ direction and result in serious personal injury or death to the operator or bystanders. Check the grass bag frequently.
• Avoid striking trees, walls, curbs, or other solid objects. If the grass is too long and the leaves clump on top of the lawn, the machine may plug and cause the engine to stall. Never deliberately mow over any object. • If the machine strikes an object or starts to vibrate, • Alternate the mowing direction. This helps disperse the immediately stop the engine, disconnect the wire from the spark plug, and examine the machine for damage. clippings over the lawn for even fertilization.
