1 3 Unfolding the Crate Checking the Idler Arms for Grease (Floating Deck Models) No Parts Required Parts needed for this procedure: Procedure 1 tube If the machine is in a metal crate, refer to the Packaging Crate Instructions included with the machine. Number 2 general purpose lithium base or molybdenum base grease. (Purchase separately.) Procedure 2 1. Remove the carrier frame cover. 2. Check the mower belt idler arm for grease (Figure 2 or Figure 3). Checking the Tire Pressure 3.

10 Activating the Battery for Mowers with Electric Start Parts needed for this procedure: 80 Bulk electrolyte with 1.265 specific gravity (Purchase ounces from a battery supply outlet.) Figure 6 Procedure 3. Slowly pour electrolyte into each battery cell until the level is up to the upper line on the battery case. Warning Important: Do not overfill the battery because electrolyte (sulfuric acid) can cause severe corrosion and damage to the chassis.
