This is a new feature that uses CEC technology and allows you to control REGZA-LINK compatible devices from the TV remote control via HDMI connection. When the TV is on and the timer activates, a dialogue box is shown informing you that the programme is about to start. When the TV is in standby mode and the timer activates, the TV will wake up with backlight off, speaker mute on, and change to the channel selected.
