Monitoring battery power

HINT: Be careful not to confuse the battery light ( ), the on/
off light ( ), and the power button light (above the
keyboard).
When the on/off light or power button light flashes amber, it
indicates that the system is suspended (using Windows
®
XP
Media Center Edition 2005 Standby command).

Displaying remaining battery power
You can monitor the main battery’s remaining charge. The
computer calculates the remaining battery charge as it
operates, based on your current rate of power use.
To show remaining power:
1 Click Start, Control Panel, Performance and
Maintenance, and then Toshiba Power Saver.
