DVD-R/+R discs allow you to record programmes only once, and the recorded contents can be erased although the space left on the disc does not change. DVD-RW/+RW discs allow you to record programmes repeatedly, and the recorded contents can be erased. There are 3 recording formats: VR mode, Video mode and +VR mode.
