TROUBLE SHOOTING

Problem Reason Solution

Steam comes out from the

underside of the lid

1. Sealing ring is dirty

2. Sealing ring is too old

1. Clean the sealing ring, cooker

lip and lid

2. Change the sealing ring

Lid won’t ﬁt properly The shape of the lid has

changed

Replace the lid

Steam and liquid leak from the

safety valve suddenly

1. The steam-releasing pipe is

obstructed.

The release hole of the

pressure-limiting valve is

blocked.

2. The safety valve has

lost its function.

1. Take the cooker off the heat

and rinse the release hole.

After it is cool, take off the

pressure-limiting

valve and clean.

2. Replace the safety

open-preventing valve.

Steam and liquid leaks from the

steam-releasing valve

1. The releasing hole of the

pressure regulator is obstructed

2. The safety valve has lost its

function.

1. Take the cooker off

the heat. After it is cool,

clean and check all the

safety devices. Change the

ones which have lost their

functions.

2. Change the sealing ring.
