MAINTENANCE
1. Don’t scrape the cooker surface with hard
material such as metal to avoid abrasion.
2. Don’t touch the cooker with other kinds of metal
to avoid electro chemical corrosion.
3. Don’t store food inside the cooker for a long time.
MAINTAINING THE SEALING RING
1. Remove the seal from the lid. (Fig. 8)
2. Wash the seal with hot water and detergent
to clean any debris from the seal.
3. Dry the seal thoroughly and replace it in the lid.
4. Replace the seal immediately if it is damaged
or has changed its shape.
5. We recommend that you change the seal
every one or two years depending on how
much you have used your pressure cooker.
MAINTAINING THE SAFETY VALVES
Always check that the Pressure Limiting Valve and
the Safety Open-preventing Valve is clear. If either
is blocked, clear away the blockage with a needle,
then rinse the parts under clean water.
Removing the Pressure Limiting Valve:
Switch the pressure limiting valve to the position
marked “ ” to allow it to be taken out of the
handle. Dismantle the valve as shown in Fig. 9.
Fig. 8
Clean the parts, then re-assemble in the opposite
order.
The valve should only be switched to the “ ”
position when it needs to removed.
Removing the Safety Open-Preventing Valve:
The safety open-preventing valve is located on the
underside of the lid. Use a spanner to remove it
from the lid before dismantling it. To clean the valve,
rinse under clean water (Fig. 10).
