FEATURES/OPERATIONS Auto lock functions Automatic door locks can be programmed to operate in four different modes, or turned OFF. -Doors lock when shifting from Park. -Doors lock when the vehicle speed goes above approximately 12 mph. -Doors unlock when the engine key is turned to the “ACC” or “LOCK” position and driver’s door is opened. -Doors unlock when shifting into Park.

To stop window midway, lightly push the switch in the opposite direction. Window lock switch Deactivates all passenger windows. Driver’s window remains operable.

To remove Open the auxiliary box on the rear side, and pull the lock release lever. Lift the box from the rear to release it from the hook. To install Place the hook into the striker. Lower box and push down to engage the rear lock.

(2) Pull the strap or lever and tumble the seat. (3) Pass the strap through the assist grip. (4) Pull and hold the strap, then fold down the seat to disengage from front hooks.

Distance control mode OVERVIEW Push System ON/OFF The distance control mode will cruise at a set speed, decelerate to maintain a selected distance from a slower vehicle traveling in front of you, and accelerate back up to the selected speed if the vehicle in front changes lanes or speeds up. To set, cancel and resume a speed Refer to “Functions” in the Cruise Control section at left, and your Owner’s Manual for more details.

AUX adapter By inserting a mini plug into the AUX audio jack, you can listen to music from a portable audio device through the vehicle’s speaker system while in AUX mode.

SAFETY AND EMERGENCY FEATURES Seatbelts Take up slack Too high Keep as low on hips as possible If belt is fully extended, then retracted even slightly, it cannot be re-extended beyond that point, unless fully retracted again. This feature is used to help hold child restraint systems securely. To find more information about seatbelts, and how to install a child restraint system, refer to the Owner’s Manual.
