PREPARING YOUR CAMERA

Installing the Battery

We highly recommend you to use the specified

rechargeable lithium-ion battery to realize the full

capability of your digital still camera. Make sure

that the power of the digital still camera is off

before inserting or removing the battery.

1. Make sure your camera is off.

2. Slide the battery / SD card cover lock.

3. Insert the battery in the correct orientation

shown.

J Tilt the battery lock lever in the direction of the arrow and orient the battery so

that its label is facing to the front side of the camera, and then insert the battery.

4. Close the battery/SD card cover lock firmly.

Removing the Battery

Open the battery/SD card cover and then release the battery lock lever. When the

battery has come out a little, slowly pull it out the rest of the way.

Charging the Battery

With the battery charger, this will facilitate the charging of the camera battery.

1. Insert one end of the charger adapter into the DC IN 5V terminal of the battery charger.

2. Insert the battery in the correct orientation shown.

3. Insert the other end of the charger adapter into a wall outlet.

 The status LED lights red when charging is started and turns green when

charging is completed.

 It is recommended to fully discharge the battery before recharging.

 Charging time varies according to the ambient temperature and the status of battery.

 The charger stops quick charge while battery voltage reach to 4.15V. The charger will

become trickle charge while LED light turns to green.
