2.1) Battery Operation
i
In battery operation, the SoundBox requires four mignon batteries (type AA). TrekStor
recommends the use of high-quality alkaline batteries.
To use your SoundBox in battery operation, insert the four batteries included in delivery
into the battery compartment. Proceed as follows (see Figure 2):
a) Open the battery compartment on the bottom of SoundBox.
b) Insert the four mignon batteries (type AA) into the battery slots.
i
During insertion check for the correct polarity (+/-) of the batteries.
a
Do not recharge, open, heat, or short-circuit batteries, throw them into open fire,
or use them at the wrong polarity. Discharged batteries should be exchanged
immediately.
c) Close the battery compartment.
2.2) Power Supply via USB Port
As an alternative to battery operation, you can supply your SoundBox with power via the
USB port. In this case, two variants are available (see Figure 3):
1) Connect the USB port of SoundBox to a USB port on your computer using the USB
cable included in delivery.
i
No data can be transferred to SoundBox via the USB port. The USB port of your
SoundBox is used only to supply power.
2) Use a USB power supply (such as TrekStor USB Charger e.m, available from retailers) to
supply SoundBox with power.
